National Night Out is a community-police awareness-raising event in the United States, held the first Tuesday of August. We are pleased to have our colleague and Coordinator of Outreach Services Deborah Hempe here to chat with us about this year's event taking place on Tuesday, August 3rd from 5:30-8:30pm at the Centereach Pool.
The local NNO event is a partnership between the 6th Precinct of the SCPD, Councilman Kevin LaValle at the Town of Brookhaven, and MCPL.
While not required, registration for the event is highly recommended. Visit http://brookhavenny.gov/nno to RSVP.
